  1. Race Route. 4 km loop; out and back racecourse

1.      Participation.

 

  • All riders must bring their UCI license and/or valid ID for the validation of their birth year. No rider shall be declared a winner if he/she will race in a different category apart from his/her correct category.

  • Registration is open via https://go-for-gold-ph.myshopify.com/pages/race-series

  • Participation fee is PHP 410 deposit via Gcash or Unionbank

  • Walk-in or onsite registration shall be allowed October 19,2024

  • The organizer shall not be held accountable for any medical costs should a race participant An onsite medical team shall be assigned to provide first aid to any race participants injured during the course of the race.

  • Organizers shall allow riders to step up but never a step

 

  • A rider may participate in more than 1 event if /Provided that he is qualified to race in another event (e.g.: age group category) and pays an entry fee for the additional event/s.

* The Organizer may lessen the race duration or laps per event if deem necessary.

*For race safety, the organizers, in coordination with the Commissaires’ panel, may decide on conducting heats as elimination prior to the finals. The organizer shall announce the schedule as

 

soon as possible and all elimination races shall be conducted in the morning and the finals in the afternoon to give all riders time to recover.

*Heats shall be formed via random pick by the organizers.

 

5. Equipment and Clothing. Only the standard road bike shall be used in all events. No helmet, no race shall be imposed. All race participants must wear proper attire in the competition including jersey, cycling shorts, socks, and shoes with No rider shall be allowed to race with improper attire.

 

-     Tire restriction for MTB: 1.95 - 2.4 is allowed.

 

6.      Start of the Race.

Riders must be present 10-15minutes in call up box before the next event. Supervised by finish Judge/ PCP. Absent rider, will not be allowed participate.

 

7.      Neutral Service and Pitstop.

There will be no neutral service allowed to follow the riders during races. A pitstop shall be provided for all technical assistance only. No feeding shall be allowed in other parts of the race course.

 

8.      No Free Neutral Lap

Because of the distance of the course, there will be No free neutral lap for a recognized mishap. A rider who gets dropped from a mishap must immediately catch up with the bunch to rejoin the group.

 

9. Any rider finishing who is lapped by the leading rider shall be eliminated ( Except when the lead rider (except when the lead rider(s) entering in the last lap and must leave the race. In principle, riders who have dropped a certain amount of time or more behind the leading rider will be re-guarded as having finished the race.

 

10. Waste Disposal and Environmental Care. The organizers and the PhilCyling encourage all race participants to dispose all wastes Anyone caught littering in the race venue shall be fined with P500.00. Strictly no smoking shall be imposed within the event venue.

 

11. Penalties shall be applied in accordance with the UCI regulations. FOR SAFETY REASON: ANY RIDER CAUGHT SWERVING OR GETTING OUT OF THE DESIGANTED LANE COURSE WILL BE AUTOMATIC DISQUALFIED.

 

12. Protests. Protest shall be in written form and filed within 10 minutes after the event where the protest is contested. A non-refundable bond of P5,000.00 shall be paid to the organizer together with the written protest. All protests shall be decided by the Commissaires panel.

 

13.  Awarding Ceremony.

  • The awarding ceremony will be conducted after the events have been finished, no more than 20 minutes after the last event.

  • Top riders must present themselves at the awarding area as soon as their names are called before the start of the awarding ceremony.

  • Winners must wear proper clothing during the awarding ceremony- jersey, cycling shorts, socks, and shoes.

 

14. Waiver. The organizers shall not, under any circumstance, be held liable to any accident or damage that may occur to any participant during the conduct of the races.

 

15.  Cash Prize. The organizer will determine the sprints for special prizes on the day of the event to provide more prizes for the race participants.
