    Age Group - Men (30-39)

    Amateur riders born from 1985-1994 and has not competed in any professional races like Le Tour de Filipinas, Ronda Pilipinas and the like.

    Age Group - Men (40-UP)

    Amateur riders born 1984 or earlier and has not competed in any professional races like Le Tour de Filipinas, Ronda Pilipinas and the like.

    Manager Category

    Business owners and high ranking officials of companies/government agencies and the like with rank of Manager to CEO and has not competed in any professional races like Le Tour de Filipinas, Ronda Pilipinas and the like.

     

     

    *Races will start 10 minutes after each event.

  • Race 1.6km loop; out and back racecourse

  • Participation

All riders must bring their UCI license and/or valid ID for the validation of their birth No rider shall be declared a winner if he/she will race in a different category apart from his/her correct category.

No walk-in or onsite registration shall be allowed.

The organizer and the PhilCyling shall not be held accountable for any medical costs should a race participant requires. An onsite medical team shall be assigned to provide first aid to any race participants injured during the course of the race.

  • Organizer’s Headquarters

The organizers headquarters shall be at Royce Hotel from March 02-03,2024 from 8am- 6pm and to be open in the race venue on March 3, 2024.

*All participants are reminded that claiming of race kits and transponders must be done not later than 15 minutes before the start of his/her event.

*For race safety, the organizers, in coordination with the Commissaires’ panel, may decide on conducting heats as elimination prior to the finals. The organizer shall announce the schedule as soon as possible and all elimination races shall be conducted in the morning and the finals in the afternoon to give all riders time to recover.

*Heats shall be formed via random pick by the organizers.

  • Equipment and Clothing
Only the standard road bike shall be used in all events. No helmet, no race shall be All race participants must wear proper attire in the competition including jersey, cycling shorts, socks, and shoes with cleats. No rider shall be allowed to race with improper attire.
  • Neutral Service and Pitstop

There will be no neutral service allowed to follow the riders during races. A pitstop shall be provided for all technical assistance and feeding of the riders. No feeding shall be allowed in other parts of the race course.

  • Rule on Free Neutral Lap

Only during a recognized mishap shall a rider be allowed to avail of a free neutral lap. The free neutral lap is applicable only within the timed No neutral lap shall be allowed in the final 3 laps of the race.

A recognized mishap includes puncture or flat tire, duly noted fall or crash, and mechanic issues of the major parts of the A commissaire shall confirm should a rider be given a free neutral lap.

The rider must return to the group where he/she stopped because of the recognized mishap. Illegal return to the group shall relegate the rider to the last position of the race

  • Waste Disposal and Environmental
The organizers and the PhilCyling encourage all race participants to dispose all wastes properly. Anyone caught littering in the race venue shall be fined with P500.00. Strictly no smoking shall be imposed within the event venue. A designated smoking area shall be marked.
  • Penalties

Penalties shall be applied in accordance with the UCI regulations.

  •  Protests
Protest shall be in written form and filed within 10 minutes after the event where the protest is contested. A non-refundable bond of P5,000.00 shall be paid to the organizer together with the written protest. All protests shall be decided by the Commissaires panel.
  • Awarding Ceremony

The awarding ceremony shall be conducted after all the events have been finished, no more than 20 minutes after the last event.

Top riders must present themselves at the awarding area as soon as their names are called before the start of the awarding ceremony.

Winners must wear proper clothing during the awarding ceremony- jersey, cycling shorts, socks, and shoes.

  • Waiver

The organizers and the PhilCycling shall not, under any circumstance, be held liable to any accident or damage that may occur to any participant during the conduct of the races.
